We cook sticky rice with coconut milk(Thai style), sugar and salt.
When eat sweet sticky rice with mango, it's so delicious, sweet, and smells good. :)~~

Ron

"Ron" means "Hot".
In Thailand, April is the first month of summer season.
Fortunately, rain falls almost everyday, so the weather is not too hot.
I think many Thai people go to the sea in this season.(^-^)

"Hot weather like this, we'd better go to the sea."

"Songkran" is the Thai festival during April 13-15.
Wan Maha-Songkran is the 13th of April.
It's Thai original new year day.

During Songkran Festival, boys and girls, men and women pour water to one another joyfully.(^^)
Children or youngers will visit the olders.
The Buddhists will respecfully bath the Buddha images.

'Tee-rak' means 'Dear', 'Honey' or 'Sweet heart'.

Juggajun(jag-ga-jan) means a kind of bug(Dundubia intemerata)
in Cicadidae family. Its color is light-green. It lives on a tree.

"Wan-kerd" means "Birthday".
"wan" means "day". "kerd" means "birth".
"Suk-san Wan-kerd" means "Happy Birthday".
"Suk" or "Suk-san" means "Happy".

"Tom-Yum-Kung(tom-yam-kung) is a popular Thai food.
In Tom-Yum-Kung, there're shrimps or prawns, herbs, lemonade, chilli, and stock(water). It's spicy, and very delicious. It's my favorite food.(^-^)
It may be very spicy for foreigners, however, Thai restaurants at abroad often cook it not too hot like original Tom-Yum-Kung in Thailand.(^_^) You may try it at Thai restaurants everywhere.(^o^)

Pad-Thai

It's "Pad-Thai" is another popular Thai food.
In Pad-Thai, there're noodles, some shrimps or prawns, bean sprouts, allium tuberosum (a kind of vegetable), sugar, fish sauce(It's salty.), lemonade, chilli powder(or not, it's up to you), egg(or not, up to you) mixed together on a pan.
When you eat, you can eat it with fresh bean sprouts and fresh allium tuberosum. When you eat, you can add rough roasted pea-nut and lemonade into Pad-Thai if you like it.
I like it too. Please try it, if you have a chance to go to any Thai restaurant.(^o^)

Som-Tam

Som-tam is similar to Salad, but it's sour and spicy.(^^)
We'll eat it with sticky rice, roasted chicken or fish, fresh vegetable. Ingredients of Som-tam are rare papaya, lemonade, fish-sauce, palm sugar, dried shrimp, fried pea-nut(or not), little tomato, and cow-pea. Now, many ones cook Som-tam by using carrot or other fresh fruits instead of rare papaya.
It's delicious and good health. Try it if you have a chance!!

Laew-jer-kan

Laew-jer-kan means See you later, See you again.
It has the same meaning as Laew-jer-kan-na, Laew-pob-kan-na, Laew-jer-kan-mai-na, Laew-pob-kan-mai-na.
[ jer, pob = see, mai = new ]
You can add ka(female)or krab(male) at the end to make it be more polite.
For example: "laew-jer-kan-mai-na-ka" => "See you again"

"Sawasdee", you can say "hi" and "bye" in the same way.
If you want to say politely,
   for female say: Sawasdee ka , for male say: Sawasdee krab.
   Sawasdee itself means  happiness, well-being.

Kob-kun,
Kob-jai

"Kob-kun" means "Thank you".
Kob-kun-mak" means "Thank you very much". [mak = much]
A man says "Kob-kun krab" or "Kob-kun-mak krab".
A woman says "Kob-kun ka" or "Kob-kun-mak ka".
If you'd like to say to a younger, you may say "Kob-jai ja".
"Kob-jai" means "Thanks". "Kob-jai-mak" means "Thanks a lot".
"ja" can be used by a man or a woman.  It's similar to "ka" or "krab", but it's informal.
And we will not use "ja" with "Kob-kun".

Chaiyo
[chai-yo]

"Chaiyo"[chai-yo] is a word that shows gladness, or you can say for compliment. For example, Chaiyo! I can win this game.! OR
In a party, people bump their glasses one another,
they say "Chai...yo! Chai...yo! Chai...yo!"
Chaiyo is similar to "Banzai" and "Kanpai"(Japanese language).

"Kor-toad" means "Excuse me." or "Sorry".
A man says "Kor-toad krab". A woman says "Kor-tod ka".
For example:
A woman : "Excuse me.(Kor-toad ka) Could you tell me where the Siam Square is?
