Many people have always asked me, "Besides Gackt, do you like anyone else?", "Why do you like Gackt?", "How could you know Gackt?". This page is my answer.(^_^)
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
I was impressed with him because of his song - as the world falls down
- the soundtrack of "Labyrinth". I watched this movie from Thai Television.
First time that I heard this song, 
I
was really impressed with singer's voice and curious who he was. Later,
I knew that a lead actor of this movie who named David Bowie sang this
song. He's a famous singer. Then, I had followed his works. I like his
songs such as "never let me down, underground, China girl, Let's dance,
the soundtrack of Merry Christmas Mr.Lawrence, and of course, the soundtrack
of Labyrinth". I just found this cd soundtrack last year despite I searched
for it about 10 years!! I didn't found it in Thailand, but I found it in
New Zealand! However, I just saw it at Tower Record in Thailand last month.(^^;)
Though, his present works are not my favorite style, so I haven't followed
his works now. However, he's my first favorite star and I'll like him forever.(^^=)
In November, I just saw him on TV in "The 2000 VH1 and Vogue Fashion Awards".
He's still cool. Kakkoii ~ ~ (^o^)
I
didn't pay attention to him. Then one day, my sister played "I just can't
stop loving you" for me. She recorded it from radio. She told me this was
Michael Jackson's voice. I was really surprised and impressed with his
voice because his voice was really similar to woman's voice. I had not
heard Michael's voice in slow song before. (Later, I knew that he sang
this song with a woman.) A few weeks later, my sister recorded "One day
in your life" by Michael Jackson for me. When I listened to this song 
at
first time, I really loved this song. I was really deeply impressed with
his voice, and started to search for everything of him. I have followed
his works till now.(^^) I was so happy that I could see his concert in
Bangkok, Thailand. When I knew that he would have concerts in Thailand,
I was really surprised and happy.(^^=) Last week, I just saw him on TV
in "the World Music Awards 2000". He got the "POP Male artist of the millenium"
award. He had a really good speech in this event so I quote his speech
for you to read. "I'm incredibly honoured to have been chosen to receive
this award. I'd like to thank the World Music Awards and especially the
fans. And you're the reason why I continue to do what I do. I've been performing
since I was 5 years old. So I haven't had what you've called an ordinary
life. But I've been blessed with so many extraordinary opportunities
and so many wonderful wonderful friends all over the world that I wouldn't
change any minute of it...really! I'm so proud to thank God. I'm so proud
the God gave me the gift of song. And the world gave me opportunity to
be heard through music. And it's because of moment like this, I can say
with all my heart that I'm very proud to be an 
entertainer.
And you ain't see nothing yet!!" WOW!! Did he mean he would have a really
great work in the 21th century?! I'll wait for that.(^^) In this event,
he still looked great.(^^) I love his smile and his laugh. He is always
the greatest artist for me. No one can be instead of Michael Jackson!
And
I liked the song "Falling over you" that Hakuei and Chisato sang in this
concert so much.(Actually, "Falling over you" is Chisato's solo song.)
So I asked my friend who knew J-rock very well to record this song into
a tape for me. Later, she recorded this song for me, but not only this
song, she also recorded many songs of other bands for me, such as X-Japan,
Luna Sea, Malice Mizer. From this tape, there were 3 songs of Malice
Mizer. They were "Bel air", "Color me blood red", and "Premier amour'.
At that time, I didn't know Malice Mizer, and my friend wrote only 
the
name of each song, so I didn't know which songs were Malice Mizer's songs.
So I knew only 'falling over you' was by Chisato(Penicillin). However,
I could remember the song 'Bel air', both music and vocalist's voice. Because
of 'Bel air', I thought this band had to be a rock band like "Kiss" for
sure.(^^;) I imagined that the vocalist wore black leather jacket and had
long curl black hair.(^^;) At that time, I didn't know J-rock well. I didn't
know how they were. I just knew only Penicillin. Later, on Dec.2, I asked
my friend for recording a part of Asian Eyes concert because I missed it.
But, she recorded many artists' PVs and Lives for me. And she told me to
see Gackt especially. She said, "Gackt, Gackt, a man named Gackt is really
cute.^o^ You must see him. He has beautiful long hair. He looks like a
prince!". She recorded "Bel air" PV firstly into my video (^^), and next
is Asian Eyes concert. This friend of mine is so kind. Although she doesn't
like Gackt anymore, we're still really good friends.(^^)
However,
I was scared of them becuase I had not seen any man dressed and made-up
so hard like this. It's like they were not human and jumped out of a cartoon.
During that time, I liked Hakuei, I watched his videos and listened to
his songs everyday, however, I could hear other songs of Malice Mizer from
radio too.
And at
that time, I still like only Hakuei.
I
hadn't liked them so much yet. And the price of cd album was so expensive,
I would buy such expensive thing if I liked it so much indeed.(Now, I am
still sad (T T) that I didn't buy meveilles 1st press despite I saw it
at a cd shop.) After single "Gekka no...", MM released single "Illuminati".
And finally, it's "Le ciel"!!(^o^) In the first week of October 1998, I
heard "Le ciel" album version from a radio program. Malice Mizer released
"Le ciel" single on Sep.30, so a radio program played "Le ciel" as latest
single of them. However, that radio had not had "Le ciel" single yet, so
he played album version instead. First time that I heard Le ciel from radio,
I felt this song was different from other song of them, especially previous
single;"Illuminati".(^^;) Because I was recording "Le ciel" into my tape, 
I
listened to it so far from radio and didn't pay attention to it. I thought
I would listen to it closely at night, so I had not been impressed with
it yet. In the night of that day, I listened to 'Le ciel' closely to the
cassette player. Then I thought, "WOW~ ~ ~!! Why this song is so melodious
like thissss!! Rhythm, music, voice of Gackt were my favorite style. This
song really moved my feeling! I like, like, like ~ ~ ~ ~!!!" From that
time, my heart began to open for Gackt.(^^=)
"Ah! Gackt created this song by himself both Lyrics and Music!!". I was
really deeply impressed with it and suddenly fell in love with him.(^^=)
As I said, I like the talented man. If he's only handsome or beautiful,
I wouldn't like him so much like this. The more I listened to "Le ciel",
the more I liked Gackt. On Nov.22, I accepted him to be my favorite star
of all time, I accepted him to be my 3rd favorite artist after Michael
Jackson. And I could feel he would be the last one of mine. After that,
I have always kept following his works. First time I saw "l'espace" live
video, I felt Malice Mizer and their staffs had really good abilities.
If I didn't think about their scary image, I thought their quality was
almost equal Michael Jackson's production. I admited their skill and technique
because I could get feeling from watching their live the same 
as
I got from watching Michael Jackson's performance.(Please don't think about
MM's dancing.^^;)
made
me thought he's really pretty. Previously, I never thought he's so pretty
because his face looked so strange in some TV program.(Sometimes, he had
not good made-up and looked so strange.(^^;)) However, when I saw a cover
of SHOXX Vol.72 from "the medley" website, I was so surprised and really
really impressed with this pic. Gackt's so pretty.(^^=) I really liked
his face on this cover so much and I realized that he's so pretty specially.(That's
why I used it in my index page at first time I created this website and
to be my banners.) This pic made me forgot about his strange face that
I had seen before.
Its music was so melodious and he sang so good. It made me like him more
and really wanted to listen his solo works more.(^^=) I liked him more
and more everyday till I thought I would have my own homepage about Gackt.
I would like to promote him and show his bright side to the world. He continued
releasing many good songs and I like them all REALLY!! If I have to give
points to each song of him, I will give 9.0 to 10.0 for each song, every
song. It's all the truth.(^^) No matter which type of song he created,
he did it so good. From Mizérable till NINE SPIRAL, I like them
all so much.(^^) 
Even
"To feel the FIRE", I like it so much too because I like his singing. In
my feeling, his voice and singing made the song good to listen.(^^)
